MANILA, Philippines — Renowned consumer technology brand HONOR has launched the brand’s latest AI smartphone, the HONOR 400 5G, in the Philippines on Tuesday, June 17 at an event held in Okada Manila, Parañaque.
The new smartphone highlights never-before-seen AI capabilities on a smartphone, including the phone’s breakthrough ‘Image-to-Video’ feature.
Jam-packed AI features, on a smartphone
Highlighted throughout the event, the HONOR 400 5G comes with an impressive amount of AI features out of the box: AI Cutout, AI Outpainting, AI Erase Passers-by, and the AI Image-to-Video, all four never-before-seen from the HONOR catalog.
The AI Cutout feature makes a cutout version of the main subject in a tap. AI Outpainting expands the image beyond its initial frame, with added details and elements imagined through AI.
AI Erase Passers-by, as the name suggests, erases the crowd surrounding the main subject. Meanwhile, AI Image-to-Video converts images to five-to-six second video clips, reimagining old photos and memories.
200MP main camera and the 5000-nits display
Aside from its highlighted AI features, the HONOR 400 comes with a 200-megapixel main camera with f/1.9 aperture and dual stabilization (OIS and EIS). The rear camera is joined by a 12MP ultra-wide and macro sensor, while the front uses a 50-megapixel selfie camera.
The HONOR 400 is built around a 6.55-inch display in an AMOLED panel. It has IP66 certification for water and dust resistance and has support for up to 5000-nits brightness for strong visibility, even when in sunlight.
It has a Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor, with 12GB of RAM, 512GB of onboard storage, and a 6,000mAh battery that charges at 100W.

As the event concluded, HONOR Philippines welcomed on-screen duo Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto as brand ambassadors for the HONOR 400 smartphone. The love team were then given the moment to reveal the price, as well as pre-order details and freebies.

The HONOR 400 comes in Midnight Black, Tidal Blue, and Desert Gold colors and is priced at PHP 22,999 for the 12GB RAM and 512GB ROM configuration. The phone is now available for pre-order on Lazada, Shopee, and TikTok Shop from June 17 to 27, 2025, with freebies worth PHP 9,397 (JBL Go 4 speaker, HONOR Choice Earbuds Clips, and Jisulife Fan Pro1).
